The resources (listed below) are available to those who reside in the 80401and 80403 Golden area ZIP codes. Our office is open from 10am-3pm, Monday through Thursday.
There is no cost associated with these resources. We do not discriminate in the provision of services and all those seeking assistance will be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.
Calvary Food Shelf (CFS)
The Calvary Food Shelf is open M-Th,10am-3pm. Shelf stable food and a variety of fresh food items, including meat, produce, dairy, and eggs are available. The Food Shelf may be visited once a week. Help with getting food to your vehicle is available.
Golden Rescue Fund (GRF)
This local resource is located at Calvary Church and provides emergency assistance with gas cards (for Golden residents only with 80401/80403 zip codes), bus tickets, travel bags of food, and emergency prescriptions.
The Salvation Army Golden Service Extension Unit
The Golden Service Extension Unit for The Salvation Army, is also located at Calvary Church. Golden residents needing help with rent, utilities, medical bills, prescriptions may receive assistance. To see if you qualify, please call 303-279-2188.

Safe overnight parking is available for families or individuals experiencing homelessness and living in a passenger vehicle in the Denver metro area. A small number of RV/camper spaces are available as well. Safe lot guests have access to bathroom facilities, housing navigation, and other services.
Spaces are limited, and a permit is required for all safe parking sites.
